Langza
Just around 10 odd kms from Kaza this Tibetan Buddhist village at an altitude of 4200 meters 13800 ft and a population of 148 people in 30 odd houses.
The village has around 1000 years old temple and got a Gautam Buddha Statue facing a large ground, the winds are at gale speed most of the time making colourful flags waving on each household.
People here are mostly dependent on cattle Peas and Barley ( जौ ) cultivation, a home-stay at this place will give a decent outlook of day to day living out here.
For trekkers its a smooth uphill walk from Kaza with some breathtaking view of Spiti river and deserted mountains covered with snow. Road from Kaza is good enough as compared to the main approach upto Kaza.
